BBVA processes your personal data for the purpose of managing the business relationship we maintain with you.

WHY DOES BBVA PROCESS YOUR PERSONAL DATA?

The legal basis that allows BBVA the processing of your personal data is the execution of the contract/business relationship in which you are involved.

BBVA must comply with legal obligations imposed by the laws, and among them, by the personal data protection legislation.

FOR HOW LONG WILL BBVA KEEP YOUR DATA?

BBVA will keep your personal data during the validity of the contractual/business relationship in which you are involved. Once the contract ends, BBVA will keep your personal data blocked during the statutory limitation period, generally 10 years, and then BBVA will erasure your personal data. In the case of the business relationship, your data will be destroyed after the termination of the aforementioned relationship.

TO WHOM BBVA WILL COMMUNICATE YOUR DATA?

BBVA will not transfer your personal data to third parties, unless it is mandatory by a law or if you have previously agreed to do so with BBVA.

In order to be able to provide you with an adequate service and manage the relationship that BBVA maintains with you as a customer or supplier, here you will find a list of categories of companies that may process your data on behalf of BBVA, as part of the provision of services it has contracted.

BBVA would like to inform that, for the same purpose as indicated in the previous paragraph, certain companies that provide services to BBVA may have access to your personal data outside EEA (All European Union Countries as well as Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway) (international data transfers).
